Hampton Wildlife Fund Scholarships
  • Must be a full time resident of South Carolina and a senior in a public or private high school in South Carolina.  
  • Must attend an institution of higher learning in South Carolina.

1.  Harry Hampton Scholarship:  Student must major in the natural resource discipline of wildlife biology, fisheries biology, forestry, marine or environmental science.

2.  Wallace F. Pate Scholarship:  Student must major in the natural resource disciplines of wildlife biology, fisheries biology, forestry, marine or environmental science.

3.  David M. Cline Scholarship:  Student must further their education in law enforcement/ criminal justice/ or forensic science.

4.  James O. Thomason Scholarship:  Student must further their education in print or photo journalism, advertising, public relations or mass communications.

  • Must be a citizen of the United States.
  • Must have a 3.75 cumulative grade point average.

  • Must provide the FAFSA SAR showing the EFC.  Must be Pell Grant eligible.

  • Must be a son or daughter of an active, full service employees of SRNS who are in their last year in public, private, home or parochial high schools.

  • Must be a graduating senior enrolled in a public school.
  • Two scholarships are for students pursuing degrees in education.  The other two may be awarded to applicants pursuing degrees in education or any other field.
